Refunds
Refund policy
This refund policy explains when and how GigaGizmo issues refunds for orders placed on gigagizmo.com.au.
Eligibility for a refund
You may be eligible for a refund where:
- You return an eligible item within the 30-day return window described in our Returns policy.
- Your order arrived damaged, faulty, incorrect, or significantly different from what was described.
- Your order was lost in transit and cannot be located after a carrier investigation.
Return shipping is paid by the customer
Free shipping on outbound orders does not mean free returns. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping label and for shipping the item back using a tracked service. We do not provide pre-paid return labels for change-of-mind returns. GigaGizmo only covers return shipping when an item arrived faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Inspection
For physical returns, we inspect items on arrival to confirm they meet the conditions in our Returns policy. We may decline or partially refund returns that show signs of use, damage caused after delivery, or missing parts.
Refund method
Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method (card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay). We don't issue refunds to a different card or account. Original outbound shipping costs (where applicable) and the customer's return shipping costs are non-refundable.
Timing
Once approved, refunds are processed within 1–3 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 5–10 business days to make the funds available.
Partial refunds
Partial refunds may apply where:
- Original packaging, manuals or accessories are missing.
- Items show minor signs of use.
- Only part of an order is being returned.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven't received an approved refund within 10 business days, please first check with your bank or card provider. If the refund still isn't visible, contact support@gigagizmo.com.au with your order number.
